Justice for Rosie the sweet, dog and beloved pet!

Rosie was an innocent dog who was senselessly hunted down and killed by improperly trained police officers. She was in her own yard as they screamed at her to “go home” When she tried to find safety in a neighbor’s yard they hunted her down and shot her for NO REASON. We must stand up for her; Rosie needs your voice!

Rosie was a gentle giant and beloved family member who deserves justice!

A Des Moines couple is fighting for charges against two police officers after their beloved pet was shot and killed.
But because prosecutors won't press charges against the two officers, the two citizens have chosen to charge the officers themselves. The practice is not common, but it is allowed in Washington state as long as a judge approves it.
Des Moines police shot and killed Charles and Diedre Wright's dog, Rosie, last November while responding to 911 reports of a dog on the loose.
After several attempts to corral the large Newfoundland, the officers say they had no choice but to open fire after Rosie snarled and lunged at them.
An internal police investigation found the shooting was justified. But witnesses say they never saw Rosie act viciously, and the Wrights want justice.
