August 6, 2011 -- Annual Pet Adoption & Music Festival
Come play on the grass! For the fourth year in a row, over twenty rescue groups from around Washington State will have companion animals of every shape and size, available for adoption: dogs, cats and ferrets. Adopt a new family member, and come enjoy the local musicians, food, shopping and activities.

Why: Thousands of animals sit in shelters and in rescue groups' foster homes waiting to go to a permanent home with people who will love them forever.
When: Saturday, August 6, 2011 10am – 4:30pm
Where: Todd Field on the campus of the University of Puget Sound

Who: Rescue and adoption groups from all around the state will join pet related businesses and non-profits, along with great local musicians for a day of adoptions, music, shopping and fun for the whole family. Dogs, cats and ferrets will be available for adoption. Meet and greet areas are staffed with experts to help you find the right fit for your family.

SPECIAL EVENT! Does your pooch have what it takes to be a cover model ! Join us at 1:30 pm on the main stage when City Dog Magazine presents their Cover Dog Model Search. Day of registration begins 10 a.m at the City Dog Magazine booth or you may pre-register by clicking on "City Dog Cover Search" to the right, please print and bring the day of the event. The $10 entry fee benefits the Dugan Foundation.
Cost: Public admission to Woofstock ’11 is free!
Donations appreciated.
Dress: Casual summertime attire, shoes and shirt are required. Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times.
Beneficiary: Woofstock ’11 is presented by Dugan Foundation, an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charitable organization committed to making life better for all animals and ending the killing of adoptable pets. Woofstock ’11 is for all companion animals, from dogs and cats to ferrets. Money raised will pay for the event, with additional funds benefiting qualifying participating organizations.
